Brief Intro of Oreimo’s Characters

Here is a brief introduction of the characters from Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (as known as “Oreimo”).

Kirino Kousaka (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu) – Kirino is the heroine in the show, who is a fourteen years old girl. She excels at almost everything as she is one of the best in academic performance in the school, leads the track and field team, and works as a fashion model as a part-time job. At home, she enjoys “otaku” hobbies such as watching anime and playing video games.

Kyousuke Kousaka (voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura) – Kyousuke is the protagonist of the show. He is a seventeen-year old high school student. Even though he is “average” in almost every way and prefers an ordinary way of life, his life changes dramatically after discovering Kirino’s secret.

Tamura Manami (voiced by Satomi Satou) – Kyousuke’s childhood friend. She seems to have a very slow and peaceful way of life. For that reason, she’s often referred to as “grandma” by Kyousuke.

Kuro Neko (voiced by Kana Hanazawa) – Kirino’s “friend” who seems to be obsessed with cosplaying and fantasy novels.

Bagina Saori (voiced by Hitomi Nabatame) – Kirino’s other “friend”, who is very tall and can be distinguished by her “otaku” fashion.
